Her Story

Teal C.H.I.C.S. was founded from a journey of faith, resilience, and hope.

In July 2020, Krista was diagnosed with ovarian cancer during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. As she navigated the physical, emotional, and financial challenges of her diagnosis, she recognized a significant need for greater support, education, and compassionate resources within her community.

Rather than allowing her experience to define her, Krista transformed it into a purpose-driven mission. Guided by unwavering faith and encouraged by a circle of supportive family and friends, she established Teal C.H.I.C.S.
